CONSOLIDATED APPLICATION
The Dallas Independent School District (the District) will hold a public meeting at
5:30 - 5:45 pm, Thursday, June 25, 2026, in the Turney W. Leonard Governance and
Training Center, 5151 Samuell Blvd. Dallas, TX 75228. Public participation in the discussion
is invited. Persons desiring to speak will call the Office of Board Services at 972-925-3720
during the registration period outlined in BED(Local). Each speaker will be provided with
details on how to communicate directly with the Board during the public forum session of
the meeting. Only members of the public who are properly registered will be allowed to
speak during the meeting. Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Section 8306
(a)(7) and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Program-Specific Provisions and
Assurances require Dallas ISD to receive public comment before the ESSA Consolidated
Federal Grant Application is submitted to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for approval.

ZONING CASES
This notice authorizes the City Council to approve a different zoning district than the one requested, except that the different district may not (1) have a maximum structure height, floor area ratio, or density that is higher than the one requested; or (2) be "nonresidential" when the one requested is for residential uses or vice versa. The City of Rowlett and City of Garland Engineering Divisions, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City of Rowlett's and City of Garland's intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between generally located between Liberty Grove Road and approximately 8,000 linear feet upstream of Liberty Grove Road. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Muddy Creek from approximately 300 feet downstream of the confluence of Stream 2EB to Liberty Grove Road.
As a result of the revision, the floodway shall widen and narrow, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase and decrease, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and narrow along Muddy Creek.
