CITY OF DALLAS ORDINANCES
The Dallas city council passed the following ordinances at a meeting of the city council on April 22, 2026. This ordinance becomes effective with this publication in accordance with the city charter.
Ordinance No. 33401
An ordinance amending Article 372, "PD 372," of Chapter 51P, "Dallas Development Code: Planned Development District Regulations," of the Dallas City Code; amending the definitions and interpretations, exhibits, development plan, uses permitted, yard, lot, and space, landscaping, signs, and design standards regulations in Sections 51P-372.103, 51P-372.103.1, 51P-372.104, 51P-372.105, 51P-372.106, 51P-372.109, 51P-372.110, and 51P-372.110.1 of Article 372; providing a special adaptive reuse project landscape development plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 33402
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 25842, passed by the Dallas City Council on January 12, 2005, as amended by Ordinance No. 29898, passed by the Dallas City Council on October 14, 2015, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 1571 for a tower/antenna for cellular communication limited to a monopole cellular tower; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance changing the zoning classification on the following property: BEING a tract of land in City Block 5948; fronting approximately 1,320.10 feet along the south line of Davis Street; fronting 1,253.33 feet on the west line of Cockrell Hill Road; and containing approximately 37.665 acres, from an R-7.5(A) Residential Subdistrict within Planned Development District No. 631 (the West Davis Special Purpose District) to a Light Mixed Use Area 2 Subdistrict within Planned Development District No. 631; amending Chapter 51P, "Dallas Development Code: Planned Development District Regulations," of the Dallas City Code; amending the creation of subdistricts and use regulations and development standards in the light mixed use subdistrict regulations in Sections 51P-631.103 and 51P-631.110; providing a new West Davis special purpose district and subdistrict boundary map; providing a new land use chart; providing a new development standards summary chart; providing a new property description; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

Ordinance No. 33407
An ordinance amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas by permitting the following property, which is presently zoned as an NS(A) Neighborhood Service District with a D-1 Liquor Control Overlay: BEING all of Lot 1 in City Block E/3541; fronting approximately 82.1 feet along the west line of Rosemont Avenue; fronting approximately 154.2 feet along the north line of Clarendon Drive; and containing approximately 0.2587 acre, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 2632 for the sale of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with a general merchandise or food store greater than 3,500 square feet; providing that this specific use permit shall be granted subject to certain conditions; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance changing the zoning classification on the following property: Being part of Lots 16 and 17 in Block 6665; fronting approximately 361.3 feet on east line of Prairie Creek Road; fronting approximately 359.7 feet along the west line of Haverhill Lane; fronting approximately 142.6 feet along the north line of Elam Road; and containing approximately 1.31 acres, from an R-7.5(A) Single Family District and NO(A) Neighborhood Office District with a D-1 Liquor Control Overlay to an MU-1 Mixed-Use District with retention of the D-1 Liquor Control Overlay; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

Ordinance No. 33410
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 32752, passed by the Dallas City Council on June 12, 2024, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 2519 for the sale of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with a restaurant without drive-in or drive-through service; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 33098, passed by the Dallas City Council on April 23, 2025, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 2586 for a hotel or motel; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a revised site plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
