Please take notice that the City Council for the Village of The Hills will conduct a public hearing at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 102 Trophy Drive, Village of The Hills, Texas concerning proposed citywide amendments to the City's comprehensive zoning ordinance, including amendments to § 9.04.205 "Permissible and Conditional Uses in Zoning Districts" regarding standards for accessory dwelling unit regulations and amendments to § 9.04.404 regarding procedures and standards for approval of zoning verification certificate applications.
At the time of the hearing, the City Council will: (a) convene acting as a planning and zoning commission under Local Government Code Section 211.007 to conduct a hearing on a preliminary report concerning proposed amendments, receive public input, and adopt a final report and recommendation: and (b) convene as the governing body to conduct a public hearing as required by Local Gov't Code Section 211.006(a) and consider adoption of amendments to the comprehensive zoning ordinance.
Persons interested in and/or affected by this action may attend and address the City Council during the hearing.
