PUBLIC NOTICE
BUTTERMILK CREEK WATERSHED PROJECT
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 27 at 6:00 p.m. at the Virginia L. Brown Recreation Center, 7500 Blessing Ave, Austin, TX 78752, to discuss the City of Austin's proposed project to improve water quality, reduce erosion, and protect public infrastructure in the Buttermilk Creek Watershed.
One purpose of this meeting is to discuss potential environmental impacts of the project and alternatives to address the project objectives.
The total estimated project cost is $28,251,752. An application for financial assistance for the project was approved by the Texas Water Development Board. This project will receive partial funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
An Environmental Information Document (EID) has been prepared and will be available for public review at the St. John Branch, Austin Public Library, 7500 Blessing Ave, Austin, TX 78752, during the following hours: 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Saturday. The EID will also be available online at www.publicinput.com/buttermilk for 30 days following the date of this notice.
