
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will host its first public meeting addressing new developments at Post Oak Ridge State Park.
The meeting will be held on
Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm

The purpose of this meeting is to collect public input that will help inform the visitor experience, recreational, and interpretive opportunities at the site known as Post Oak Ridge State Park, new 3,000-plus-acre park located along the Colorado River in Burnet and Lampasas counties. The event will feature interactive stations and the chance to speak with members of the planning team. Materials will be available in both English and Spanish, and bilingual team members will be on hand to answer questions. A public question & answer session will follow the presentation.
Questions and comments for this phase of the project will be accepted until February 16th, 2026, and may be submitted to:
