NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON FULL PURPOSE ANNEXATION INTO AUSTIN
A public hearing will be held by the City Council of Austin, Texas, for the Dog's Head rights-of-way (ROW) annexation area. The proposed annexation includes portions of Hergotz Lane, Thompson Lane, Edwin Lane, Dalton Lane, and Ramirez Lane rights-of-way that are contiguous or connecting to the City's current full purpose jurisdictional boundaries in East Austin. At the hearing, City Council will hear and consider comments on issues related to the full purpose annexation of land in Travis County.
Hearing date and location: July 23, 2026, meeting convenes at 10:00 AM at Austin City Hall, 301 W. 2nd St., Austin, TX 78701. All speakers must register in advance. Case number C7a-2026-0004, Dog's Head ROW Full Purpose annexation area (approximately 37.31 acres) includes portions of Hergotz Lane, Thompson Lane, Edwin Lane, Dalton Lane, and Ramirez Lane rights-of-way in East Austin. The area is currently in Austin's extraterritorial jurisdiction and is contiguous or connecting to the City's current full-purpose jurisdictional boundaries.
