NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Board of Directors of the Southwestern Travis County Groundwater Conservation District will hold public hearings during its regular meeting on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 9:30 AM at 8656 W Hwy 71, Bldg. A, Ste. 224, Austin, TX 78735, to receive comments on:
1. Proposed amendments
to District Rules
(continued from July
9, 2025), including
changes to definitions,
General Permit
eligibility/require-
ments, well spacing,
well construction
standards, and
drought stage restric-
tions.
2. Proposed amended
budget for Fiscal Year
2025.
3. Proposed fee schedule
and budget for Fiscal
Year 2026.
Proposals are available at www.swtcgcd.org; printed copies may be viewed at the District office by appointment. Comments may be provided verbally during the hearings or submitted in writing by 5:00 PM, September 5, 2025, by mail to P.O. Box 340595, Austin, TX 78734, or email to admin@swtcgcd.org.
Following the hearings, the Board may adopt the proposals as presented or with revisions based on public input or staff/advisor recommendations.
