NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS
TO BE LEVIED AGAINST PROPERTY LOCATED IN
THE WILDHORSE RANCH PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing will be conducted by the Commissioners Court of Travis County, Texas on February 24, 2026 at or after 9:00 a.m. at the Travis County Administration Building, Commissioners Courtroom, 700 Lavaca St., First Floor, Austin, Texas 78701.
The public hearing will be held to consider proposed assessments to be levied against the assessable property within Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4, Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13, and Improvement Area #3 of the WildHorse Ranch Public Improvement District (the "District") pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 372 of the Texas Local Government Code, as amended.
The proposed public improvements to be undertaken at this time within Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4 include street and roadway improvements, water and wastewater system improvements, and storm drain improvements (the "Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4 Projects"). The proposed public improvements to be undertaken at this time within Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13 include street and roadway improvements, water and wastewater system improvements, and storm drain improvements (the "Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13 Projects"). The proposed public improvements to be undertaken at this time within Improvement Area #3 include street and roadway improvements, water and wastewater system improvements, and storm drain improvements (the "Improvement Area #3 Improvements"). The proposed public improvements to be undertaken at this time within Zone A include street and roadway improvements, water and wastewater system improvements, and storm drain improvements (the "Zone A Improvements"). The "Improvement Area #3 Projects" are collectively the Improvement Area #3 Improvements and Improvement Area #3's allocable share of the Zone A Improvements.
The total estimated cost of the Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4 Projects, plus District formation costs and bond issuance costs (collectively, the "Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4 Authorized Improvements"), is $404,665.
The total estimated cost of the Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13 Projects, plus District formation costs and bond issuance costs (collectively, the "Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13 Authorized Improvements"), is $1,549,000.
The total estimated cost of the Improvement Area #3 Projects, plus bond issuance costs, and other costs (collectively, the "Improvement Area #3 Authorized Improvements"), is $21,165,835.
The boundaries of the District include approximately 1,599 acres within Travis County and the corporate limits of the City of Austin, Texas, generally located near to and southeast of the intersection of U.S. Highway 290 and Texas State Highway 130, generally bounded on the east by FM 973, on the south by Bloor Road, on the southwest by Blue Bluff Road, and on the northwest by Decker Lane and Capital Metro railroad tracks, as more particularly described by a metes and bounds description available for public inspection at the office of the Travis County Tax Assessor-Collector, 2433 Ridgepoint Dr., Austin, Texas 78754. The metes and bounds descriptions of Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4, Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13, and Improvement Area #3 of the District are also available for public inspection at the office of the Travis County Tax Assessor-Collector.
All written or oral objections on the proposed assessments within Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4, Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13, and Improvement Area #3 of the District will be considered at the public hearing.
A copy of the preliminary amended and restated service and assessment plan, including the proposed Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4 Assessment Roll, the proposed Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13 Assessment Roll, and the proposed Improvement Area #3 Assessment Roll relating to the costs of the Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4 Authorized Improvements, the Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13 Authorized Improvements, and the Improvement Area #3 Authorized Improvements, respectively, which include the assessments to be levied on the assessable property within Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4, Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13, and Improvement Area #3 of the District that benefit from the Improvement Area #1 Tract C-4 Authorized Improvements, the Improvement Area #1 Tract C-13 Authorized Improvements, and the Improvement Area #3 Authorized Improvements, respectively, can be obtained by contacting the Travis County Office of Economic Development & Strategic Investments – Public Improvement Districts, by email at pids@traviscountytx.gov or by U.S. mail at P.O.
