The City of Schertz is accepting Request for Bids for construction services of the 2026 LIBRARY FOUNDATION REPAIR PROJECT, BID #2026-005.
Sealed Bids in response to this IFB will be received through the City's e-procurement portal at https://schertz.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Submissions by other methods or after the aforementioned date and time will not be accepted.
All submitted and sealed responses will be opened at the above-mentioned time and date. Responders who wish to be present for the opening may join the Zoom meeting at the below link immediately following the bid closing:
Be advised that if your company is contemplating responding to this IFB you should register as a Schertz Vendor to be notified of any changes or additions to the IFB documents via addenda. Any questions regarding this IFB must be directed to the Q&A section of the Project on the City's e-procurement portal at
https://schertz.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities. General questions about the IFB process or using the e-procurement portal may be directed to the Purchasing Department at purchasing@schertz.com
Questions must be posted on the Q&A Section of the portal no later than Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
The City of Schertz reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all responses, waive any or all formalities or technicalities, accept the response or portions of the response determined to be the best and most advantageous to the City, and hold the responses for a period of 60 days without acting. The City of Schertz reserves the right to accept responses from more than one firm determined to be the best option for the City. Respondents are required to hold their responses firm for the same period of time.
