CITY OF UNIVERSAL CITY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Well Site No. 9 Ground Storage Tank Rehabilitation will be received by The City of Universal City, at the office of the City Hall, 2150 Universal City Blvd., Universal City, TX 78148, until 2:00 P.M. local time on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of rehabilitation of the Well Site No. 9 Ground Storage Tank that includes interior and exterior blast cleaning, coatings, disinfection, and miscellaneous repairs and steel work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Trihydro Corporation, 1672 Independence Drive, Suite 315, New Braunfels, TX 78132. Bidding Documents may be viewed and downloaded online through CIVCAST (civcastuse.com). Complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as portable document format (PDF) files. All project related questions shall be received and addressed through CIVCAST and any questions received after 5:00 PM CST on June 19, 2026 will not be addressed. A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 P.M. local time on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Universal City Public Works, 265 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, TX 78148. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the instructions to Bidders. All bids submitted must be sealed and plainly marked on the outside as "BID ENCLOSED" addressed as "City of Universal City – City Hall, 2150 Universal City Blvd., Universal City, Texas 78148". Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Bids must be submitted on the bid form furnished. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the above scheduled closing time set for the receipt of bids.
