CITY OF DALLAS ORDINANCES
The Dallas city council passed the following ordinances at a meeting of the city council on June 24, 2026. This ordinance becomes effective with this publication in accordance with the city charter.
Ordinance No. 33475
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 30060, passed by the Dallas City Council on April 13, 2016, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 2184 for a mini-warehouse use; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a revised site plan; deleting the elevations plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 33476
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 32505, passed by the Dallas City Council on August 9, 2023, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 2494 for the sale of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with a general merchandise or food store greater than 3,500 square feet; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance amending Article 811, "PD 811," of Chapter 51P, "Dallas Development Code: Planned Development District Regulations," of the Dallas City Code; amending the Subarea B development plan and landscape plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 33478
An ordinance changing the zoning classification on the following property: BEING all of Lot 2 in City Block 6570; fronting approximately 294.6 feet along the east line of Denton Drive; fronting approximately 285.8 feet along the west line of Ford Road located 418.9 feet north of the Villa Creek Drive intersection; and containing approximately 3.81 acres, from Planned Development District No. 307 to Subdistrict A within Planned Development District No. 307; amending Article 307, "PD 307," of Chapter 51P, "Dallas Development Code: Planned Development District Regulations," of the Dallas City Code to reflect the change of zoning; creating Subdistrict A; amending the development plan, landscape inventory plan, uses, floor area, setbacks, maximum height, off-street parking, signs, lot coverage, maintenance, and general requirement regulations of Article 307 to establish regulations and development standards for Subdistrict A; providing a new development plan; providing a new landscape inventory plan; adding a new Section 51P-307.103.1, "Exhibits"; adding a new Section 51P-307.110.1 "Environmental Performance Standards;" deleting Section 51P-307.114, "Zoning Map"; providing a Subdistrict A development plan; providing a Subdistrict A landscape plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 33479
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 7764, passed by the Dallas City Council on August 18, 1958, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 129 for an electrical substation; permitting the following additional property, which is presently zoned as an R-7.5(A) Single Family District and an R-7.5(A) Residential Subdistrict within Planned Development District No. 631 (West Davis Special Purpose District): BEING a tract of land in City Block 5949; fronting approximately 25 feet on the south line of Davis Street; fronting approximately 49.84 feet along the west line of Calumet Avenue; and containing 6.915 acres, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 129; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a revised site plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 33480
An ordinance amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas by permitting the following property, which is presently zoned as an IR Industrial/Research District: BEING all of Lot 2 in City Block A/5771; fronting approximately 339.41 feet on the northeast line of Harry Hines Boulevard northwest of Burbank Street; and containing approximately 3.7 acres, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 2626 for an open-enrollment charter school; providing that this specific use permit shall be granted subject to certain conditions; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas by permitting the following property, which is presently zoned as a CR Community Retail District: BEING part of Lot 2 in City Block 6046; fronting approximately 465 feet along the east line of Pastor Bailey Drive; fronting approximately 461.65 feet along the north line of Camp Wisdom Road; and containing approximately 4.93 acres, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 2637 for a tower/antenna for cellular communication limited to a monopole cellular tower; providing that this specific use permit shall be granted subject to certain conditions; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance changing the name of Woodbine Avenue, between Morrell Avenue and Renner Road, to Dr. David Henderson Jr. Avenue; providing waivers of certain standards in Section 51A-9.304; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance changing the name of Davenport Road (east-west), between Preston Road and Davenport Road (north-south), to Brentfield Drive; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance amending Chapter 51A, "Dallas Development Code: Ordinance No. 19455, as amended," of the Dallas City Code by amending Section 51A-3.102; amending Chapter 52, "Administrative Procedures for the Construction Codes," of the Dallas City Code by amending Sections 207 and 306; related to the denial or revocation of a certificate of occupancy for a use operating without a required license, permit, or registration; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
