CITY OF DALLAS ORDINANCES
The Dallas city council passed the following ordinances at a meeting of the city council on June 24, 2026. This ordinance becomes effective with this publication in accordance with the city charter.
Ordinance No. 33462
An ordinance providing for the abandonment and relinquishment of a portion of a utility easement, located in City Block 4/5501 in the City of Dallas and County of Dallas, Texas; providing for the quitclaim thereof to Robert James Spigner and Rachel Masory, as Trustees of the Spigner-Masory Revocable Trust; providing for the terms and conditions of the abandonment, relinquishment and quitclaim made herein; providing for the indemnification of the City of Dallas against damages arising out of the abandonment herein; providing for the consideration to be paid to the City of Dallas; providing for the payment of the publication fee; and providing an effective date for this ordinance.

An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 33230 (2025-26 FY Operating and Capital Budget's Appropriation Ordinance), to make adjustments for the fiscal year 2025-26 for maintenance and operations of various departments and activities, amending capital budgets; authorizing the city manager to make certain adjustments; appropriating funds for public improvements to be financed from bond funds and other revenues of the city of Dallas for fiscal year 2025-26; providing a saving clause; and providing an effective date.

ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF CITY OF DALLAS, TEXAS WATERWORKS AND SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2026A; ESTABLISHING PARAMETERS REGARDING THE SALE OF THE BONDS; APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF THE BONDS; AND ALL OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO
Ordinance No. 33465
An ordinance amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas by permitting the following property, which is presently zoned as Subdistrict 2 within Planned Development District No. 535 (C.F. Hawn Special Purpose District No. 3): BEING a tract of land in City Block 8777; fronting approximately 90 feet along the southwest line of C.F. Hawn Freeway northwest of Ellenwood Drive; and containing approximately 0.76 acre, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 2639 for vehicle display, sales, and service; providing that this specific use permit shall be granted subject to certain conditions; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance changing the zoning classification on the following described property:
BEING all of City Blocks 7/4809, 5/4808, 3/4807, 2/4806, 3/4725 ½, 4/4725, and a portion of City Blocks 6/4726 and 1/4724 generally bounded by Remond Drive to the north, Hampton Road to the east, the alley located west of Walter Drive between City Blocks 7/4809 and 5/4808 with City Blocks 1/6166 and 3/6166 on the west; and a portion of Colorado Boulevard between City Blocks 7/4809 and 1/6167 along with the alley located south of Colorado Boulevard splitting City Block 6/4726 and a portion of City Block 1/4724 to the south; and containing approximately 39.70 acres, from an R-7.5(A) Single Family District to Conservation District No. 22 (the Stevens Park Village Conservation District); approving the conceptual plan for this conservation district; providing a purpose statement; providing regulations and procedures for this conservation district; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas by permitting the following property, which is presently zoned as an R-7.5(A) Single Family District: BEING a tract of land in City Block 6722; located at the southwest intersection of Cheyenne Road and Limestone Drive; fronting approximately 376.09 feet on the west line of Cheyenne Road; and containing approximately 6.009 acres, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 2641 for an open-enrollment charter school; providing that this specific use permit shall be granted subject to certain conditions; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance changing the zoning classification on the following property: BEING a tract of land in City Block in City Block 8790; fronting approximately 100.13 feet along the south line of Hazelcrest Drive; fronting approximately 1,215.00 feet on the south line of LBJ Freeway; fronting approximately 2,113.60 feet along the east line of Haymarket Road; and containing approximately 98.724 acres, from an R-10(A) Single Family District and an A(A) Agricultural District to Planned Development District No. 1147; amending Chapter 51P, "Dallas Development Code: Planned Development District Regulations," of the Dallas City Code by creating a new Article 1147; establishing use regulations and development standards for this planned development district; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 10909, passed by the Dallas City Council on March 8, 1965, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 275 for an electrical substation; permitting the following additional property, which is presently zoned as an R-10(A) Single Family District: BEING a tract of land in City Block 6038; fronting approximately 113.13 feet along the east line of Franklin Street north of Gibbs Williams Road; and containing approximately 0.89 acre, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 275; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a revised site plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas by permitting the following property, which is presently zoned as an MU-2 Mixed-Use District: BEING a tract of land in City Block 7609; fronting approximately 716.80 feet along the south line of Wheatland Road west of Lancaster Road; and containing approximately 10.536 acres, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 2638 for a temporary concrete or asphalt batching plant limited to a temporary concrete batching plant; providing that this specific use permit shall be granted subject to certain conditions; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 32118, passed by the Dallas City Council on January 12, 2022, as amended by Ordinance No. 32876, passed by the Dallas City Council on September 25, 2024, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 2439 for commercial motor vehicle parking; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a revised site plan; providing a landscape plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
