Notice is hereby given that the Heath Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Further notice is given that a second public hearing is scheduled where the City Council will consider and act on the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Both meetings will be held at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas.
The following items will be considered:
Conduct a Public Hearing and Act on an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Heath, Texas, Amending Chapter 159.26(B) "(MF-8) High Density Multi-Family Residential District" and Chapter 159.42, "Definitions" of the Heath Code of Ordinances to establish appropriate development regulations for HUD-code Manufactured Housing and to define HUD-code Manufactured Home and Mobile Home.

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) invites local non-entitlement communities to participate in a hybrid Public Meeting to help establish Regional Project Priorities for the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) 2027–2028 Community Development Fund.
NCTCOG provides technical assistance to the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) in administering this process for North Central Texas. The Regional Project Priorities identified through this effort will account for 25% of the total score used to evaluate Community Development Fund applications. Your participation is important to help ensure these priorities reflect the needs of communities across the region.
