Notice is hereby given that the Plano City Council will hold a Public Hearing on August 10, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. in the Senator Florence Shapiro Council Chambers of the Plano Municipal Center, 1520 K Avenue, and via video conference to consider the following:
Zoning Case 2025-021 - Request to rezone 0.9 acre of land out of the Alex M. Hetfield Survey, Abstract No. 432, located at the northeast corner of Los Rios Boulevard and Fitzgerald Drive in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas, to rezone 0.9 acre from Agriculture to Single-Family Residence-7 and to expand Specific Use Permit No. 582 for Private Recreation Facility from 1.1 acres to 1.6 acres.
All persons wishing to enter testimony during a video conference are invited to participate remotely via broadcast by webinar to voice their opinion (registration is required). A registration link will be listed on the City Council agenda, which will be available on August 4, 2026 after 5:00 p.m. at the following link: https://www.plano.gov/1444/City-Council-Agendas. Total testimony is limited to thirty (30) minutes.

Public Meeting – Texas Community Development Block Grant 2027-2028 Community Development Fund Regional Project Priorities
The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) invites local non-entitlement communities to participate in a hybrid Public Meeting to help establish Regional Project Priorities for the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) 2027–2028 Community Development Fund.
NCTCOG provides technical assistance to the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) in administering this process for North Central Texas. The Regional Project Priorities identified through this effort will account for 25% of the total score used to evaluate Community Development Fund applications. Your participation is important to help ensure these priorities reflect the needs of communities across the region.
