The City of Dallas Engineering Services Department, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City of Dallas' intent to revise the flood hazard information, located at 6050 Belt Line Road. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Kiowa Branch from the confluence with White Rock Creek to approximately 1300 feet upstream of Belt Line Road, and along White Rock Creek from the confluence with Kiowa Branch to 2700 feet upstream of Preston Road.
As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase and decrease, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and narrow along Kiowa Branch. Additionally, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase and decrease, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and narrow along White Rock Creek within the area of revision.
