The Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of Farmers Branch, Texas, will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 13000 William Dodson Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas. Consideration will be given to the following request:
Stephen and Sharon Mentesana, owners of Lot A of Frank C. Bolton Jr.'s Addition, more commonly known as 3124 Brookhollow Drive, are requesting a variance to allow a fence to encroach the maximum permitted height by 1 foot 4 inches. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 22, Article VIII, Section 22-264, limits fence height to a maximum of 8 feet 6 inches in any rear yard, along any rear yard lot line, side yard, or side yard lot line.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment urges all property owners to make their desires known by either attending the public hearing or by writing the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Scott Webster, Deputy Director of Community Services, 13000 William Dodson Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234. All correspondence will be noted at the public hearing.
