AUSTIN HIGH SCHOOL PARTIAL MODERNIZATION – GMP2

Cadence McShane Construction as the General Contractor for Austin ISD, will receive bids or proposals from all qualified subcontractors for the AUSTIN HIGH SCHOOL PARTIAL MODERNIZATION GMP2. The scope of work consists of: Sitework, Landscaping, Fencing, Concrete, Masonry, Flooring, Steel, Millwork, Waterproofing, Insulation, Roofing, Glazing, Doors, Appliances, MEP.
An in-person Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on October 23rd 9am-11am and will be located in the library at 1715 W Cesar Chavez St. Austin, TX.
Bids or proposals are due Tuesday, October 28th at 2:00PM, and bids or proposals should be emailed to bids@cadencemcshane.com. Late bids will not be accepted.
There will be no public opening of bids or proposals. After receipt of bids or proposals, Cadence McShane Construction will conduct its evaluation of the subcontractor bids or proposals in relation to the project requirements and will select the bid(s) or proposal(s) that offers the best value to AISD.
AISD, the Owner, reserves the right to waive any informality and/or to reject any, or all bids, or proposals.

As of September 24, 2025, the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (Mobility Authority) is seeking bids for the following construction contract in Travis County: Contract # 26290E22702M – 290E Large & Small Signs Replacement Project. This project will replace small and large signs on existing posts & support structures along the 290E corridor from west of US 183S Interchange to east of SH 130 Interchange within CTRMA maintenance limits. The engineer's construction estimate for the project is approximately $1.3M.

Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: Earthwork, mass grading, site retaining walls, detention ponds, onsite utilities, storm lift stations, paving, and landscaping.
Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held in person on October 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Local Time. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid conference is MANDATORY, and no Bid will be opened unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and the bidder agrees that the Contract Documents can be terminated if the bidder knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with the requirement of that subchapter.
