Notice is hereby given that Travis County Water Control and Improvement District No. 17 (the "District") will hold an election on November 3, 2026 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., at the locations attached as Exhibit A, pursuant to an agreement under Section 49.104, Texas Water Code and/or Section 31.092 of the Texas Election Code, for the purpose of electing three (3) directors who shall serve four (4) year terms. There will appear on the ballots used in the election the names of the candidates for the office of director who have filed applications to have their names printed on the ballot at least seventy-eight (78) days prior to the election, and blank spaces for write-in candidates who file a declaration of write-in candidacy at least seventy-four (74) days prior to the election, or the next regular business day. The following named persons have been appointed officers of said election: the Travis County Clerk, as Election Officer, and the Travis County Clerk, as Early Voting Clerk. Early voting in the election by personal appearance shall begin on October 19, 2026 and shall continue through October 30, 2026. The main early voting location is located at Travis County Clerk; 5501 Airport Blvd, Training Room, 78751 during the following hours: Monday –Sunday (7am - 7pm) & Thursday, October 29th – Friday, October 30th (7am - 10pm); and other early voting locations are attached as Exhibit B. Applications for ballots to be voted by mail must be received no later than the close of business on October 23, 2026.
