Public Notice Notice of Community Development Project & Public Hearing NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT: Pursuant to the Development Corporation Act, as amended, on July 14, 2026, the City of Cedar Park Community Development (Type B) Corporation authorized the publication of Public Notices related to a Parks Playground and Amenity Replacement Project in Cedar Park, Texas (the "Project"). The Project will support the replacement of several park playgrounds and park amenities. Funds will be used to replace playgrounds at multiple parks, including Veterans Memorial Park, Peggy Garner Park, Wild Rose Park and potentially several others. Additionally, funds will be used to replace aging park amenities, such as drinking fountains, benches, and tables. The main portion of this funding will be used to construct a new playground at Veterans Memorial Park focused on adaptive play for children of all abilities. The Project is estimated to be $1,500,000, although this amount is subject to future revision.
