Notice of Community
Development Project & Public Hearing
Notice is hereby Given to all interested persons, that:
Pursuant to the Development Corporation Act, as amended, on July 14, 2026, the City of Cedar Park Community Development (Type B) Corporation authorized the publication of Public Notices related to a Pump Track Feasibility Project in Cedar Park, Texas (the "Project").
The Project will provide funding for consulting services to assess the feasibility of adding a bike pump track at the Brushy Creek Sports Park. Funds will be used to hire a consultant to conduct a feasibility study to determine if the Brushy Creek Sports Park is a suitable location for a pump track based on available land, parking and potential permitting requirements. This study will also determine a potential cost estimate for such a project. A pump track received strong community support through the 2024 Parks and Recreation Master Plan public engagement process. The Project is estimated to be $25,000, although this amount is subject to future revision.
A public hearing will be held by the Corporation on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 6:30 pm at:
City of Cedar Park Council Chambers
450 Cypress Creek Road, Building 4
Cedar Park, Texas, 78613
Information concerning the proposed Project is available for public inspection at Cedar Park City Hall, 450 Cypress Creek Road, Building 1, Cedar Park, Texas 78613, or by contacting Mike DeVito, Director of Parks & Recreation, (512) 401-5502.
