ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
The CITY OF CEDAR PARK (OWNER) will receive COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS for the 2026 Traffic Signal Construction Project until 2:00 PM local time on June 26, 2026.
PROPOSALS must be submitted to the City of Cedar Park via www.civcastusa.com by 2:00 PM CT on June 26, 2026. Each Proposal must be properly identified with the subject title and Proposer's company name. One (1) PDF copy of the Proposal shall be submitted in electronic format on www.civcastusa.com.
The PROPOSALS will be publicly opened and read aloud Virtually from the Public Works Department in Cedar Park, Texas on June 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT. A link will be provided via www.civcastusa.com for those who wish to view the proposal opening online. PROPOSALS received after this time will not be accepted.
PROPOSALS are invited for the items and scope of work as follows:
Complete construction of a traffic signal at each of five intersections: Brushy Creek Road and Wilson Ranch Place; Brushy Creek Road and Ranch Trails; Cottonwood Creek Trail at Medical Parkway; New Hope Drive at Arrow Point Drive; Cypress Creek Road at Cluck Creek Trail.
Instructions to Proposers, Proposal Forms, Specifications, and Contract Documents may be examined or obtained electronically beginning May 26, 2026, at www.civcastusa.com (Project Name = "City of Cedar Park - 2026 Traffic Signal Construction"), at www.cedarparktexas.gov/Bids.aspx (Project Name = "City of Cedar Park - 2026 Traffic Signal Construction"), or for viewing only at the City of Cedar Park Public Works Department, 2401 Brushy Creek Loop, Bldg. 1, Cedar Park, Texas, 78613.
Construction services for this project will be selected through competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Chapter 2269 of the Texas Government Code. The City will evaluate and rank the contractors based on the following selection criteria: 40% Contractor Relevant Experience and References, 50% Cost Proposal and 10% proposed schedule. The City shall select the contractor that offers the best value as determined by the selection criteria and ranking evaluation. The estimated total construction budget for this project is $2,500,000.
Each PROPOSAL must be accompanied by Proposal Security made payable to OWNER in an amount of five percent (5%) of PROPOSER's total amount proposed and in the form of a certified or cashier's check or a Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
PROPOSERS are invited to attend a voluntary virtual pre-proposal conference for this project. This meeting will be the only time City Staff is available to meet with PROPOSERS to discuss the project and directly answer questions. The virtual Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on June 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT. A link will be provided via www.civcastusa.com for those who wish to join the pre-proposal conference online.
During the pendency of this RFP, PROPOSER shall not contact any City staff except those designated herein this RFP or subsequent addendums or correspondence. Any questions or concerns should be submitted via www.civcastusa.com after the PRE-PROPOSAL conference and at least five (5) business days prior to the Due Date (on or before June 19, 2026).
