INVITATION TO BIDDERS Sealed bids addressed to West Travis County Municipal Utility District No. 8 will be received at the office of Quiddity, 912 S. Capital of Texas Hwy., Suite 300, Austin, Texas 78746 until 10:00 a.m. Local Time, Monday, April 13, 2026, and then publicly opened and read for furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment and performing all work required for Construction of 2026 Shops and Los Robles Ponds Sediment Removal. The project is located in the City of Bee Cave. The Shops Upper and Lower ponds are located on the south side of Shops Parkway approximately 370 feet west of the intersection with Cross Town Parkway. The Los Robles Pond is located on the east side of Flameleaf Sumac Drive approximately 450 feet south of the intersection with Beautybrush Drive. The Scope of Work of the Contract includes the removal of sediment from the forebays of the Shops Upper and Lower Ponds, and the forebays of the Los Robles Pond. The work is to be performed by the dredging process, and includes offsite disposal of the sediment. For construction contracts $50,000 and over but less than $250,000, the bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State of Texas equal to five percent (5%) of the maximum total bid amount. For construction contracts over $250,000, the bidder shall submit either a 5% certified or cashier's check or a 5% bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. Prospective bidders must provide a Statement of Qualifications no later than five (5) days prior to the bid opening. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who fails to submit the required documentation.
