SE26-0003 – 5129 South Colony Boulevard – Special Exceptions.
Conduct a public hearing, discuss and consider a Special Exception [Regulations and Design Guidelines for Accessory Structures] to 1) Section 10B-100(e)(2), to allow lot coverage of approximately 60% where 40% is the maximum lot coverage for principal and accessory structures in the SF-4 District; 2) to Section 10B-300(b) to allow a carport in the side yard where no carport shall occupy space in the front or side yard; 3) to Section 10B-100(d) to allow a proposed carport to contain dimensions of approximately 51 feet by approximately 33 feet, 8 inches where carports are not to exceed 24 feet on its longest dimension. The subject site is located at 5129 South Colony Boulevard within the Single-Family 4 (SF-4) Zoning District.

The following Ordinances were passed by the Plano City Council on August 24, 2026 (Title and Penalty Clause Only).
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-8-10 - An Ordinance of the City of Plano, Texas, amending 12-101, Prohibited on certain streets at all times, of Article V, Stopping, Standing and Parking, of Chapter 12, Motor Vehicles and Traffic, of the City of Plano Code of Ordinances, to establish no parking zones along certain sections of 10th Street between the DART Silver Line railroad tracks and Iron Avenue, within the city limits of the City of Plano; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a severability clause, a savings clause, a publication clause, and an effective date.
Any violation of any provision or term of this Ordinance shall be a Class C misdemeanor offense. Any person, firm, corporation, or association who is adjudged guilty of a Class C misdemeanor offense under this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($500.00) for each offense. Each and every violation shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense.
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-8-13 (ZC 2026-002) - An Ordinance of the City of Plano, Texas, amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2, as heretofore amended, granting individual Heritage Landmark Designation No. 38 (H-38) on 0.6 acre of land out of the Thomas M. Archer Survey, Abstract No. 14, located on the east side of Westwood Drive, 255 feet north of Westbrook Drive, in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas, presently zoned Single-Family Residence-7; directing a change accordingly in the official zoning map of the City; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and an effective date.
