City of Plano Legal Notice
The following Ordinances were passed by the Plano City Council on August 24, 2026 (Title and Penalty Clause Only).
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-8-10 - An Ordinance of the City of Plano, Texas, amending 12-101, Prohibited on certain streets at all times, of Article V, Stopping, Standing and Parking, of Chapter 12, Motor Vehicles and Traffic, of the City of Plano Code of Ordinances, to establish no parking zones along certain sections of 10th Street between the DART Silver Line railroad tracks and Iron Avenue, within the city limits of the City of Plano; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a severability clause, a savings clause, a publication clause, and an effective date.
Any violation of any provision or term of this Ordinance shall be a Class C misdemeanor offense. Any person, firm, corporation, or association who is adjudged guilty of a Class C misdemeanor offense under this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($500.00) for each offense. Each and every violation shall be deemed to constitute a separate offense.
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-8-13 (ZC 2026-002) - An Ordinance of the City of Plano, Texas, amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2, as heretofore amended, granting individual Heritage Landmark Designation No. 38 (H-38) on 0.6 acre of land out of the Thomas M. Archer Survey, Abstract No. 14, located on the east side of Westwood Drive, 255 feet north of Westbrook Drive, in the City of Plano, Collin County, Texas, presently zoned Single-Family Residence-7; directing a change accordingly in the official zoning map of the City; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and an effective date.
Any violation of the provisions or terms of this ordinance by any person, firm or corporation shall be a misdemeanor offense and shall be subject to a fine in accordance with Section 1-4(a) of the City Code of Ordinances for each offense. Every day a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-8-14 (ZC 2026-005) - An Ordinance of the City of Plano, Texas, amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City, Ordinance No. 2015-5-2, as heretofore amended, granting individual Heritage Landmark Designation No. 39 (H-39) on 0.6 acre of land out of the Thomas M. Archer Survey, Abstract No. 14, located on the east side of Westwood Drive, 355 feet north of Westbrook Drive, in the City of Plano, Collin
County, Texas, presently zoned Single-Family Residence-7; directing a change accordingly in the official zoning map of the City; and providing a penalty clause, a repealer clause, a savings clause, a severability clause, a publication clause, and an effective date.
Any violation of the provisions or terms of this ordinance by any person, firm or corporation shall be a misdemeanor offense and shall be subject to a fine in accordance with Section 1-4(a) of the City Code of Ordinances for each offense. Every day a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
