Great West Casualty Company seeks to interplead insurance funds relating to a July 24, 2025, motor vehicle accident in which Zidan Hassen was involved. Great West Casualty Company also seeks a declaratory judgment relating to which state's law applies to the subject insurance policy.

The City of Rowlett Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on Tuesday July 28, 2026, and make a recommendation to City Council regarding a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow for an accessory structure with an area greater than 500 square feet on a property zoned Single Family SF-40.
