PARROT ISLAND WATER PARK MANAGEMENT, CITY OF FORT SMITH, AR
The City of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Sebastian County, are seeking proposals from
reputable firms specializing in aquatic facility/water park management to provide
comprehensive services beginning in calendar year 2027, including:
· Daily operations/guest services
· Staffing, training, and lifeguard certification
· Maintenance, safety compliance, and risk management
· Marketing, promotions, and revenue optimization
· Concessions and retail
· Financial reporting and budgeting support
The selected partner will bring innovative ideas to maximize attendance, ensure exceptional visitor experiences, and maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in this facility. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record managing similar aquatic parks or facilities, expertise in seasonal operations, and strong references from municipal and/or public partnerships. Sealed proposals shall be received by the Purchasing Department of the City of Fort Smith until 12:00 PM, local time, Friday, July 24, 2026. All proposals shall be submitted to the address below and labeled in accordance with this Request for Proposal ("RFP") which is available on the City of Fort Smith website www.fortsmithar.gov/government/departments/finance.

Zoning Cases
This notice authorizes the City Plan Commission to recommend approval of a different zoning district than the one requested, except that the different district may not (1) have a maximum structure height, floor area ratio, or density that is higher than the one requested; or (2) be "nonresidential" when the one requested is for residential uses or vice versa.
