ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Heath EST for City of Heath Heath, Texas General Notice City of Heath (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Heath EST 2500564 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at City Hall located 200 Laurence Drive, Heath, TX 75032, until Friday, June 12th, 2026 at 10:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after the above time and date will be returned unopened. Only one (1) physical copy of the bid documents is required, along with a flash drive containing electronic copies of the bid documents. The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a 1.5-million-gallon elevated storage tank with associated site, electrical, and SCADA improvements. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Instructions to Bidders To be accepted, a bid must be accompanied by a bid security instrument payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total base bid, in the form of either (a) a cashier's check or certified check or (b) an acceptable bidder's bond with a surety authorized to operate in the state of the project. Performance, Payment and Warranty Bonds will be required on the forms provided in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the state of the project state to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Qualifications Statement in the Bidding Documents must be completed and submitted with the bid. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating bid prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, to reject any or all bids, and to waive formalities. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date on which bids are opened.
