CITY OF DALLAS ORDINANCES
The Dallas city council passed the following ordinances at a meeting of the city council on May 13, 2026. This ordinance becomes effective with this publication in accordance with the city charter.
Ordinance No. 33415
An ordinance providing for the abandonment and relinquishment of a portion of a drainage easement and a portion of a water and wastewater easement, located in City Block A/5991 in the City of Dallas and County of Dallas, Texas; providing for the quitclaim thereof to Dallas Independent School District, a political subdivision of the State of Texas; providing for the terms and conditions of the abandonment, relinquishment and quitclaim made herein; providing for the conveyance of new easements to the City of Dallas and the relocation of existing facilities; providing for the indemnification of the City of Dallas against damages arising out of the abandonments herein; providing for the consideration to be paid to the City of Dallas; providing a future effective date for the abandonment, relinquishment and quitclaim made herein; providing for the payment of the publication
fee; and providing an effective date for this ordinance.

An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 28836, passed by the Dallas City Council on November 14, 2012, which amended the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas, and granted Specific Use Permit No. 1997 for an open-enrollment charter school; amending the conditions in Section 2 of that ordinance; providing a revised site plan; providing a revised traffic management plan; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An ordinance changing the zoning classification on the following property: BEING part of Lot 17 in City Block 7/827; fronting approximately 204.71 feet on the northeast line of Washington Avenue; fronting approximately 72.94 feet on the northwest line of Main Street; and containing approximately 0.18 acre, from a CS Commercial Service District to Planned Development District No. 1143; amending Chapter 51P, "Dallas Development Code: Planned Development District Regulations," of the Dallas City Code by creating a new Article 1143; establishing use regulations and development standards for this planned development district; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

Ordinance No. 33426
An ordinance amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas by permitting the following property, which is presently zoned as Subdistrict 1 within Planned Development District No. 534 (C. F. Hawn Special Purpose District No. 2): BEING Lot 3A in City Block 6357; fronting approximately 117.3 feet on the southeast line of Turin Drive; fronting approximately 165.9 feet on the northeast line of the C. F. Hawn Freeway Service Road; and containing approximately 0.42 acre, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 2634 for vehicle display, sales, and service; providing that this specific use permit shall be granted subject to certain conditions; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

Ordinance No. 33428
An ordinance changing the zoning classification on the following property: BEING part of Lots 7 and 8 in City Block 7879; fronting approximately 273.57 feet on the west line of Saint Augustine Road north of Seagoville Road; and containing 6.51 acres, from an R-7.5(A) Single Family District to an MF-1(A) Multifamily District; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
Ordinance No. 33429
An ordinance amending the zoning ordinances of the City of Dallas by permitting the following property, which is presently zoned as a CS Commercial Service District: BEING a tract of land in City Block 805; fronting approximately 152.70 feet along the northeast line of Haskell Avenue north of Willow Street; and containing approximately 0.505 acre, to be used under Specific Use Permit No. 2633 for an alcoholic beverage establishment limited to a microbrewery, micro-distillery, or winery; providing that this specific use permit shall be granted subject to certain conditions; providing a penalty not to exceed $2,000; providing a saving clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
