The City of Bee Cave, Texas is seeking sealed bids for the removal of vehicles, refuse,
rubbish, miscellaneous building materials, and demolition of various structures. The site is subject to a Municipal Court Order requiring cleanup of the property to become compliant with City Codes. The property is residential in nature and is approximately 1.4 acres.
The deadline for physical delivery of sealed bids to the City Secretary's Office is June 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same date and time in the City Hall Council Chambers, 4000 Galleria Parkway, Bee Cave, Texas 78738.
Pre-Bid on-site inspection: The City will host prospective bidders at the property on May 28, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The purpose of this inspection is to allow the bidders to see the property and understand the quantity and type of materials to be removed. This will enable bidders to properly prepare bids.
Insurance Documents: Copies of current liability insurance, workman's compensation, and vehicle insurance certifications and any required state licensure shall be provided in the bid package. Failure to include insurance and licensure shall be grounds for rejection of the bid.
Bid Form: The City expects the cost of the project to be lump sum, not an hourly rate.

Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: Street, Erosion Control, Water, Wastewater and Drainage improvements associated with Starling Phase 1 Improvements.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. This Invitation for Bids is for the construction of BLACKHAWK TRAIL. The work generally consists of Grading, Site Plan and Erosion Control Improvements (the "Project"). Sealed Bids should be addressed to Lakeside WCID 2C, C/O David Wang, (the "District"). The Bidder's surety will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within 10 days after award of the contract.
The Pre-Qualification Statement included in the proposal packet and as required by Lakeside WCID 2C shall be completed in its entirety and submitted as part of the proposal. Any proposal lacking the Pre-Qualification Statement will not be considered.
No Proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Owner's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
A Maintenance Bond will be required in the amount of 10% of the contract price and is to remain in force for a period of one year from the date of the letter of final acceptance from the Lakeside WCID 2C.
Prevailing Wage Rates, in accordance with Government Code 2258 are applicable to this project.
