City of Austin, Texas, Applicant, filed in the Probate Court No. 1 of Travis County, Texas, on 12/23/2025 a First Amended Original Petition for Condemnation in Cause No. C-1-CD-25-000072, styled CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS, Condemnor VS. THE ESTATE OF CRISPI WOOD, THE HEIRS AND UNKNOWN HEIRS OF CRISPI WOOD, Condemnee, which is now pending on the probate docket of said Court.
The suit is a proceeding in eminent domain in which the City of Austin is acquiring the aforementioned estate and interest in the following-described tract of land situated in Travis County, Texas to wit:
A tract of land containing approximately 0.0022 acre (98 square feet) of one acre of land, more or less, out of and a part of the Santiago Del Valle Survey, Abstract Number 24, Travis County, Texas, being a portion of that certain tract of land described as a triangular tract front 123.2 feet on the east service road of Interregional Highway 35 and conveyed to Crispi Wood, by deed filed for record on May 15, 1967, recorded in Volume 3295, Page 2084 of the Deed Records of Travis County, Texas (D.R.T.C.TX.).
You are notified that a Special Commissioners' Hearing has been set for the following stated hour, date, and place:
TIME: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
DATE: May 29, 2026 PLACE: 301 W. 2nd Street, 4th Floor, Conference Room 4101, Austin, TX 78701
You are further notified to appear at same and present such evidence as you may wish. If you do not appear at the hearing, the Special Commissioners may proceed to assess the damages to the property condemned.
