And to me as Sheriff, directed and delivered, I will proceed to sell to the highest bidder for cash at between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of said month, being September 1, 2026, at the area located outside on the West side of the Bexar County Courthouse which is near the intersection of East Nueva Street and the closed portion of South Main Avenue, San Antonio, Texas, the following property, located in the County of Bexar and the State of Texas, described as follows, to wit:
Real property, more commonly known as 2422 E. Houston St., San Antonio, TX 78202-3124, more particularly described as follows:
Tract I: Account Number: 063740160190; Legal Description: NEW CITY BLOCK 6374 BLOCK 16 LOTS 19A AND 19B JEFFERSON HEIGHTS SECOND ADDITION IN THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO, BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS, AS SHOWN IN VOLUME 00368, PAGE 0318 OF THE DEED AND PLAT RECORDS OF BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS.
Minimum Bid at Re-Sale: $20,000.00
Levied on July 14, 2026 and to be sold to satisfy the judgment dated April 3, 2024, in favor of the plaintiff:
BEXAR COUNTY, CITY OF SAN ANTONIO, SAN ANTONIO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, with FGMS HOLDINGS, LLC as Intervenor, recovered against Michael Baytop AKA Michael Joseph Baytop, Andrew Baytop, FGMS Fund III, LP (In Rem Only), Alamo Home Finance, Inc. (In Rem Only), and Capital One, National Association (In Rem Only).
The above described property was foreclosed at public auction on December 2, 2025 with no bidders present. The property was then struck off in accordance with Texas Tax Code §34.01(k). To date, no adequate offer to purchase the property has been received. Plaintiff requests the property be set for public re-sale in accordance with Texas Tax Code §34.05.
The net proceeds of the sale shall belong and be distributed to Plaintiff and Intervenor to this suit which have been adjudged to have tax liens against said property over and above the amount necessary to pay advertising costs related to the tax sale and original court costs, sheriff's fees and commissions for conducting the sale; taxes, penalties and interest due under the judgment and any other amount awarded to the taxing unit(s) under the judgment. In the event that sufficient proceeds are generated by the re-sale to pay all judgment amounts, any amount over and above the payoff amount will be distributed pro rata to the taxing units made a part of the judgment.
I, the undersigned agent (or trustee) for Bexar County, hereby give notice that the Bexar County Commissioners Court and myself do not warrant title nor guarantee a title policy on this property. Bexar County is giving only as much title as it has. Whatever charges there are against the property continue on past the sale and must be taken care of by the purchaser. All prospective purchasers are put on notice that the property may be subject to mortgages, liens, or other encumbrances. It is the responsibility of all prospective purchasers to determine the existence of any legal impediments to title on the above-described property.
The highest bidder must immediately on the first Tuesday of September month tender the cash amount of the high bid to myself as agent or trustee for Bexar County. Following the ratification of the sale, I will give a Sheriff's Deed to the highest bidder. A bidder at the sale must be registered at the time the sale begins with the Sheriff, Deputy Sheriff, or agent conducting the sale.
