Groundwater Management Area 9 (GMA 9) has proposed the following desired future conditions (DFCs) for the relevant aquifers in the Trinity Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District (TGRGCD), which is mostly in northern Bexar County: Trinty Aquifer: allow for an increase in average drawdown of approximately forty-six feet through 2080. The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) designated GMA 9 to include: Bandera County RAGD, Blanco Pedernales GCD, Comal Trinity GCD, Cow Creek GCD, Hays Trinity GCD, Headwaters GCD, Medina County GCD, Southwestern Travis County GCD, and Trinity Glen Rose GCD. The TGRGCD will have an open public comment period on the proposed DFCs for its relevant aquifers until July 20, 2026. Written comments may be submitted to TGRGCD at PO Box 1589, Helotes, Texas 78023 or manager@tgrgcd.org. During the comment period, the TGRGCD will hold a public hearing on the proposed DFCs on July 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at the TGRGCD office, located at 12274 Bandera Rd, Ste. 106, Helotes, Texas 78023.
