The City of Cedar Park Department of Engineering, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the flood hazard information for Cluck Creek. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along Cluck Creek from a point approximately 150 ft upstream of Buttercup Creek Boulevard to 800 ft downstream of West Park Street.
The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) for a proposed project along Cluck Creek.
As a result of the revision, the floodway will widen and narrow within the revised area. The 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase and decrease. The 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen and narrow within the area of revision.
Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the City of Cedar Park Engineering Department located at 450 Cypress Creek Road Building 1, Cedar Park, Texas 78613. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 21, 2026, a public hearing as required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code") will be held with respect to the proposed issuance by the National Finance Authority (the "Authority") of qualified 501(c)(3) bonds, as defined in Section 145 of the Code, in one or more series in an amount not to exceed $180,000,000 (the "Bonds") for teacher housing facilities.
Pursuant to a plan of finance, the proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to PPDC Hays, LLC (the "Borrower"), whose sole member is Public-Private Development Corporation, a Texas nonprofit corporation and an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code, which will use a portion of the proceeds to (1) finance the acquisition, design, construction and equipping of a single-family housing development and related amenities located at 10745 Camino Real, Uhland, TX, 78640, for the purpose of lessening the burdens of government and for the use and benefit of Hays Consolidated Independent School District, (2) fund capitalized interest on the Bonds, (3) fund a tenant reserve fund, and (4) pay certain expenses incurred in connection with the issuance of the Bonds. The facilities to be financed and/or refinanced are to be owned and operated by the Borrower.
