The Travis County Healthcare District dba Central Health is seeking up to three (3) vendors to provide catalogs for professional audio-visual (AV) equipment and services, and to provide live-video production services and equipment for community events and other public and special meetings as needed and requested. The purpose of this Request for Proposals of catalog rates is to secure competitive pricing from various AV vendors who can provide equipment and services in the Austin and Travis County area who may not be cooperative contract participants. When work is identified, Central Health may ask for quotations from one or more contracted vendors for equipment, staff, and services. The execution of a contract does not guarantee work with Central Health. Central Health reserves the right to determine Best Value and select vendors for work per specific event requirements and scheduling needs. In the instance that Central Health receives more than three (3) qualified proposals, it is within Central Health's right to award contracts at will based on the proposers' capabilities and proximity to Travis County.
Equipment, staff, and support services to be provided by the awarded and selected vendor(s) must ensure pre-event coordination and set-up, operation, troubleshooting, and breakdown services. During each event, vendors must ensure high-quality video and audio coverage, seamless live-streaming and recording if needed, minimal post-production editing in collaboration with Central Health's internal teams if needed, and comprehensive AV support.

The PROPOSALS will be publicly opened and read aloud Virtually from City Hall in Cedar Park, Texas on September 10, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time. A link is provided below for those who wish to view the proposal opening online. PROPOSALS received after this time will not be accepted.
PROPOSALS are invited for the items and scope of work as follows:
King Log House Restoration (Twin Creeks Historic Park at F.M. RD 2769 in Cedar Park, Texas)
Work includes documentation, demolition of masonry addition and roof existing roof structure, wood log restoration and reconstruction of the roof structure and wood shingle system. Site Work to includes limited grading to promote site drainage away from the building, demolition of select areas of existing paving, underground electrical service to the structure, and metal site fence. A future phase 2 scope is shown as an alternate 1. Exterior restoration of the existing logs as noted on exterior elevations, masonry mortar repointing and select new masonry, new roof framing and cedar shingle roof, reconstruction of the wood timber framed porch at the west and east sides of the log structure including concrete footings. New wood board and rail and stile doors, wood double hung windows within existing openings with modifications and casement window within existing opening. Interior work includes selective replacement of the wood board floor, dry stacked stone support of existing floor joists and beams, replacement of deteriorated wood floor joists at first and second floor, wood roof structure and cedar shingle roof system, cedar board exterior siding at gables, recessed floor power outlets.

Construction services for this project will be selected through competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Chapter 2269, of the Texas Government Code. The City will evaluate and rank the contractors based on the following selection criteria: 30% Contractor Relevant Experience and References, 60% Cost Proposal and 10% proposed schedule. The City shall select the contractor that offers the best value as determined by the selection criteria and ranking evaluation. The estimated total construction budget for this project is $460,000.
Each PROPOSAL must be accompanied by Proposal Security made payable to OWNER in an amount of five percent (5%) of PROPOSER's total amount Proposal and in the form of a certified or cashier's check or a Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
During the pendency of this RFP, PROPOSER shall not contact any City staff except those designated herein this RFP or subsequent addendums or correspondence. Any questions or concerns should be submitted via Civcastusa.com at least five (5) business days prior to the Due Date (on or before September 4, 2026).
